报告摘要:Dual-active-bridge converters are also referred to as “bidirectional isolated dc-dc converters” from functionality. As an example, the 100-kW 16-kHz DAB converter consists mainly of two 1.2-kV 400-A SiC-MOSFET quad modules and a unity-turn-ratio transformer, in which the dc input and output voltages are equal to 850 V. The system efficiency was measured to be as high as 99.2% or higher in a power range of 10 to 100 kW, excluding the power losses produced by the control and gate-drive circuits as well as cooling fans. Applications of DAB converters include solid-state transformers, battery energy storage systems, quick EV chargers, and so on. |

报告人简介:Hirofumi Akagi received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1979. Since 2000, he has been Professor, currently Distinguished Professor, at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Prior to it, he was with Okayama University, Okayama, Japan, and the Nagaoka University of Technology, Nagaoka, Japan. His research interests include power conversion systems and its applications to industry, transportation, and utility. He has authored and coauthored more than 140 IEEE Transactions/Journal papers, including three invited, single-author’s papers in Proceedings of the IEEE. According to Google Scholar, his lifetime citations reach over 64,000 times with an h-index of 104. |
